EN 1090-1: Compliance Requirements for Structural Components (CE Marking, Certified Factory Production Control System)
The standard EN 1090 is a harmonized European standard that is mandatory in all European Union member states since 2014. It belongs to the group of standards that support the implementation of the CPR (Construction Products Regulation) which is also a legal obligation and grants the right to the entity implementing it to affix the CE marking on its products.
When the CE marking is affixed to products, it constitutes a declaration by the natural or legal person who affixes it or is responsible for its affixing that the product complies with all applicable requirements and that the necessary conformity assessment procedures have been successfully completed.
